- Lexix is BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys). Usage is billed by each AI provider under your own account, with your own spending limits.

Questions
What is BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys)?
You use your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Groq. Keys are encrypted at rest and only decrypted in server memory when making a call. You pay providers directly and can revoke a key from their dashboard at any time.
Is it really free?
Yes. During the beta every feature is free. You only pay AI providers directly for usage through your own keys.
How does sensitivity routing work?
Every message is classified as public, internal, confidential or restricted before it is sent. Lexix then picks a provider your admin has approved for that level — restricted content can be limited to an Ollama model you run yourself. If no approved provider is available, the message is blocked rather than sent somewhere less secure.
What happens after the beta?
We plan to offer paid plans priced per organisation rather than per seat, so you can give AI to everyone who handles sensitive data without counting licences.
